Basic emotion
Trust
Trust is a sense of safety around a person, an idea or a place. It lets you lean on others without spending energy on constant checking. Trust is built slowly, on small promises kept, and it protects relationships.
From mild to intense
Acceptance
MildWhat it signals
Willingness to stay beside what is, without rushing to improve it. A key skill, especially in relationships.
What to do with it
Acceptance isn't approval. You can accept “this is how it is right now” and move toward change in parallel. Try telling yourself: “this is here, and I can live with it.”
Trust
BaseWhat it signals
The state where you let someone be closer than arm's length. The foundation of every meaningful relationship.
What to do with it
Trust grows from small promises kept, not from grand vows. Notice who you'd like to trust a little more, and take one small step.
Admiration
IntenseWhat it signals
A deep recognition of someone's qualities or beauty. It says that in the other person you've seen something your soul leans toward.
What to do with it
Ask: what exactly do I admire in this person? Often it points to your own strengths you haven't yet claimed.
The opposite emotion
Across the wheel stands dislike. Opposite feelings are hard to feel at the same time, and one often helps make sense of the other.
